Shadow theatre performance
Based on the book “Tales of Sufi Wisdom” by Henri Gougaud, published by Éditions du Seuil
A storyteller stands before a Berber tent; on the side, an oud player. Behind the canvas, shadows come alive: a voice is heard, a female silhouette appears. The two worlds communicate, cross paths, and dialogue through song, music, speech, and imagery.
A journey into the world of Sufi tales, filled with poetry and humor.
This performance may be followed by an educational component (debate, writing workshop, and presentation) addressing the themes raised in the play.
