Shemza, a young female flying squirrel, is carried away by a violent gust of wind that makes her land unexpectedly on the back of Jì Dì Guàn, a stork postman.

Carried to the peaks of the Qinling Mountains, in the heart of China, she will meet fascinating and sometimes unsettling animals: a cruel snow leopard, a legendary dragon, a snub-nosed monkey, and a clumsy panda. Throughout this journey, she will experience difference and otherness.

But how will she find her parents again, and Wõ Shù, her sheltering tree, who are waiting for her in the family cocoon?

La petite musique de Makao

For children aged 2 to 8

Capacity: 240 people
Duration: 45 min
Setup: 5h
Stage space: 5.5 m × 3 m

Tree-shaped screens. We are in the savannah. Shadow and stage lighting illuminate the set with tight beams. Between the screens, the storyteller engages with the children.

Makao is a mischievous little monkey who gets scolded by his mother. Upset, he hides in a tree where he meets a giraffe, a lion, and a frog. Together, they will create a musical concert…

This performance explores the child’s socialisation. It is supported by music and warm colours, tenderness in the performance, and humorous passages accessible to young children.

Story writing, silhouette creation and staging: Véronique Le Gaillard
Set design and creation: V. Le Gaillard and Bruno Renard
Outside eye: Cécile Naud
Music composition and recording: Romuald Berrier

Rêve d'oiseau

For children aged 6 months to 5 years

Capacity: 120 people
Duration: 30 min
Setup: 1h30
Stage space: 2 m × 2.5 m

…Once upon a time, twice, three times, four times…
… A tree. In that tree, a nest. In that nest, an egg. And in that egg, a small being ready to hatch and grow to fly in the sky like its kin… But here comes Hippopo, making noise and racket, shaking the trees…

The story begins, and with it many other things will hatch: life, affection, which sometimes arise in improbable situations with the help of our dreams. The screen is shaped like an egg, placed on bird legs, surrounded by straw and playful poetic objects.

The capacity and the size of the screen were deliberately limited to allow close contact between the actress and the children.
The “Lumizhommes”, little beings of light living deep in caves, watch over to ward off any monsters or ghosts.
